Course Description
Unix Fundamentals provides a comprehensive background in using the Unix operating system. The course is designed for users with previous computer experience, but not necessarily Unix. New users of Unix, programmers, novice system administrators, and novice Unix system operators would benefit from this course. The emphasis is on learning how to use the essential commands, utilities, and operating system tools in both the AT&T and System V flavors. The course is structured such that the students can easily adapt the concepts, if needed, to the major vendor flavors of Unix.
